You run this API platform on your own AWS EC2 instances, billed by the hour. The software itself carries no license charge under this free pricing model. The three dimensions are simply different EC2 instance sizes you can choose: m5.2xlarge, t3.2xlarge, and m6i.2xlarge. Each represents a distinct compute configuration, so your hourly cost depends on which instance type you select to host the platform. You pick the instance that matches your performance and workload needs. There are no separate tiers, seats, or usage add-ons to combine.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance running the platform. The m5.2xlarge and m6i.2xlarge are general-purpose instances with sustained CPU and memory. The t3.2xlarge is a burstable instance suited to variable loads. You pick the size that fits your expected throughput and pay per hour it runs.
Software charges meter running hours only. When you stop or power off the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. The software itself carries no license fee under this free model. Note that AWS may still bill separately for attached storage while the instance is stopped.
Every instance runs the same platform. You get unified access management for web applications and APIs, full API lifecycle management, authentication and authorization options, fine-grained access control, and traffic governance features like rate limiting and load balancing. Capabilities do not change by instance type; only compute capacity does.

- Enter your Cloudformation Stack Name. e.g. paraview-api-us-east-1
- Follow the instructions and key in the necessary info. e.g., AccessCidr, PVC, Subnet, etc. (make sure the AccessCidr will be set to 0.0.0.0/0)
- Check the "I acknowledge that AWS CloudFormation might create IAM resources with custom names" option.
- All the way "Next" and "Submit".
- Wait around 5 minutes, and check the Stack Output for your credential and portal info.
