The Kudelski Labs (formerly Kudelski IoT) Matter Device Attestation Certificate Service enables companies to get scalable access to Device Attestation Certificates letting them join the Matter ecosystem with confidence and ease. We can also be your strategic security partner throughout your entire product lifecycle.
Prior to purchase, we can make available test DACs to validate your device within the Matter ecosystem. To purchase production Matter certificates requires an NDA to be in place and you must be a member of the Connectivity Standards Alliance.
Once DACs are gained, you'll then be able to onboard your device within a wider AWS ecosystem and build out additional capabilities.

Overview
The Kudelski Labs Matter Device Attestation Certificate (DAC) provisioning service is a state-of-the-art solution to securely provision DACs. It simplifies production flow, accelerates time-to-market and is highly cost efficient.
The service secures the delivery of Device Attestation Certificates (DAC) to a secure repository, hosted on AWS, that can be used by your device production facility to inject the DACs into your device.
Kudelski Labs operates a Non-VID scoped Product Attestation Authority (PAA) that was approved by the Connected Standards Alliance (CSA) in January 2023. It's Common Name (CN) is Kudelski Matter PAA 01.
A Product Attestation Authority provides attestation services to Matter devices, ensuring that each certificate is legitimate and meets the requirements of the Matter specification.
A Non-VID Scoped PAA offers the service of its well-established Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) provider to other members. Each Non-VID scoped PAA has passed an exhaustive audit against the Alliance PKI Certificate Policy's requirements.
An established PKI provider guarantees compliance with Alliance PKI Certificate Policy and removes the need of implementing submitting, and maintaining a Certification Authority.
Our DACs are created through the Kudelski Labs keySTREAM solution that runs as a SaaS platform on AWS.
Once you have your DACs, you’ll also then be able to use Matter devices with the AWS ecosystem. This includes AWS Alexa for local control and AWS IoT Core for cloud-based integration and custom applications to enable unified communication and control across different device types. Other options are services such as AWS IoT Analytics to collect and analyse data from your newly certified Matter device or create immersive digital twins by integrating services like AWS IoT TwinMaker.
