Keycloak Serverless for AWS is an open-source single sign-on (SSO) solution managed by Solodev. It provides secure and reliable identity and access management for modern applications and services, all powered by a serverless cloud architecture.
Keycloak simplifies SSO. Rather than handling authentication separately for each app, users log in once through Keycloak, reducing the need for custom authentication mechanisms in individual apps.
Built on Solodev Core, Keycloak Serverless for AWS is an enterprise distribution of the latest version of Keycloak from Keycloak.org combined with the Solodev Professional Infrastructure Platform. Solodev fully maintains and supports Keycloak in a scalable serverless deployment on AWS, providing updates and customer support.
Keycloak supports user federation, which means you can sync users from external sources. This feature simplifies user management by pulling user data from existing systems. Keycloak also supports widely used authentication protocols to enable secure authentication and authorization flows.

Keycloak Serverless uses a single pricing dimension: a Per Node (Hosts) contract. You commit to a set number of nodes, and your price scales with the node count you choose. This is the only pricing option on AWS Marketplace. The contract covers the software's operational and infrastructure costs for running on AWS. You deploy the software into your own AWS account, so pricing is tied to the number of hosts you run rather than usage volume or feature tiers.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A node is one host running the software in your AWS account. The deployment runs on container tasks that scale between a minimum and maximum count you set. Each running host counts toward your billed node total, so your price tracks the number of hosts you deploy, not user or request volume.
The contract covers the software's operational and infrastructure costs for running on AWS. You deploy into your own account using a CloudFormation template. You supply an existing VPC, subnets, an SSL certificate, and a hostname. Those underlying AWS resources are configured during setup and fall outside the node contract price.
The setup lets you define minimum and maximum container counts and a target CPU utilization for auto scaling. Your billed node total reflects the hosts you run under the Per Node contract. Adding hosts raises your cost because price scales with node count, not with usage volume or feature tiers.
