SSIP-MSK enables a simplified, one-click, self-service infrastructure provisioning capability to deploy an Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka Service. The resulting provisioned infrastructure includes support for the following features: MTLS, IAM, Data Encryption (in-transit and at-rest), Observability, Open Monitoring(JMS, Node, Kafka Metrics), CloudWatch logs and metrics. SSIP-MSK simplifies the task of provisioning an Amazon MSK Cluster infrastructure and integrating it with other AWS services in a unified solution without the need to keep switching context in other to integrate other services. This enhances the delivery of Amazon MSK Cluster infrastructure solution using AWS Service Catalog Terraform Reference Engine, resulting in significant gain in cycle time from idea to value. While SSIP-MSK enables this functionality, it does so, as part of AWS Service Catalog Terraform Reference Engine. To fully utilise SSIP-MSK, users must have an active subscription for AWS Service Catalog and Terraform. Please note that SSIP-MSK deploys the Amazon MSK Cluster and other services into Buyers AWS Account. The Buyer is responsible for the running cost of deployed infrastructure.
