A five-day, fixed-price engagement that embeds spec-driven development inside your engineering team. Delivered at intive's offices or your own site.
Spec-driven development asks teams to lead with intent - Constitution before code, spec before implementation - then step back and let the workflow accelerate. AWS Kiro, running on Amazon Bedrock, makes this native. All Bedrock interactions run within your own AWS account, ensuring your source code and prompts remain under your control.
intive has validated this approach at scale: a six-to-eight person cross-disciplinary team (November-January 2025/26) delivering 2-3x faster than traditional SDLC, with feature lead times of approximately one day and test coverage above 80% without additional effort. Every team member recommended the approach.
The Five-Day Programme
Day 0 (remote, pre-engagement): 2-hour scoping call. intive helps you select the right feature, confirm team composition, and validate environment readiness before the week begins.
Day 1 - Foundation: Kiro IDE provisioned, AWS IAM/SSO configured, MCP integrations connected (GitHub / Jira / Figma / Azure DevOps). intive engineers pair with your DevOps team on your infrastructure. Access is scoped to the engagement period and revoked upon completion.
Day 2 - Constitution: The team defines its non-negotiable principles - TDD mandate, branching strategy, quality gates, AI usage policy. As much a cultural act as a technical one. Output: a version-controlled Constitution file.
Day 3 - First Spec: A live feature scoped in natural language. AI Clarify phase surfaces edge cases and non-functional requirements before a line of code is written.
Day 4 - Ship It: AI generates code against the spec. intive pairs with your developers through implementation, property-based test validation, and merge.
Day 5 - Handover: Your team ships a second feature independently, intive observing. Afternoon: 30-minute stakeholder showcase, retrospective, patterns playbook handover, and roadmap discussion.

Security and Data Handling
All Amazon Bedrock interactions remain within your AWS account - no client code is used for model training. intive engineers operate under NDA and follow secure access protocols with time-bound credentials scoped to the engagement. Access is revoked at the conclusion of Day 5.

Delivery Locations
Hosted at intive offices in Dublin (IE), Wroclaw (PL), or Regensburg (DE). Client-site delivery is available with travel and expenses charged at cost. Dates available on request.
