Software charges accrue only while the instance runs. Stopping an instance halts the hourly software fee. Partial hours are metered by AWS. Note that stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs, which are separate from this listing's software rate.

To connect to your instance, use SSH over port 22. The default username for this image is rocky.
