Use cases:
Insurance underwriting and risk mitigation.
Evaluating the security measures needed to protect employees and customers at retail facilities.
The study of the effects of neighborhood crime on wellness and health care outcomes.
Methodology:
Crime is tracked for multiple years using both FBI aggregate crime reports and for many parts of the country at the individual incident level. A complex set of statistical models are used to estimate and forecast risk of each individual crime type by using land use data in conjunction with demographic and business characteristics.

This listing uses a single pricing dimension called Product Access (Units). You buy it under a contract, which grants subscriber access to the Canada crime risk dataset. There are no separate tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to choose from. Pricing scales with the number of access units you commit to under the contract term. This keeps the structure simple: one dimension covers your access to the data product.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Product Access unit grant me?
A unit grants subscriber access to the Canada Crime Risk dataset under your contract. It is not a per-user seat or a server instance. Access units define how much product access you commit to, and your cost scales with the number of units in your contract.
What data does the Canada Crime Risk product actually include?
You access crime risk data for Canada, part of the vendor's location intelligence datasets. This sits alongside demographics, prosperity, resident and worker population, mobile device visitation, and point-of-interest data. The product delivers location-level risk insight to support site selection and market planning decisions.
Does my cost change with how much I query or use the data?
No. This listing uses a single contract-based dimension, Product Access (Units). There is no usage metering, overage charge, or pay-as-you-go component. Your cost is fixed by the number of access units you commit to, not by query volume or activity.
