Start a 14 day free trial on AWS Marketplace today where you pay only the AWS fees for your EMR Spark cluster. After your trial, use EMR Accelerator on a pay-as-you-go basis, paying only for the vCPU/hours (measured on a per second basis) for EMR query acceleration in your EMR Spark clusters. Cancel anytime.
You can also work with the Windjammer team to get specialized pricing on the Marketplace on a contract basis.
If you want to run EMR Accelerator with a different version than EMR 6.X Spark please contact us.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing uses a single usage-based pricing dimension. You pay per vCPU hour, billed on top of your standard AWS fees. Your cost scales directly with how much processing you run: more vCPU hours means a higher charge, and less usage means a lower charge. There are no tiers or fixed commitments to choose from. The software works as a plug-in for EMR Spark 6.x jobs, so charges accrue only while your accelerated Spark workloads consume compute.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one vCPU hour cover for billing purposes?
One vCPU hour is one virtual CPU running for one hour on your EMR cluster. The software meters the vCPUs used by your accelerated Spark workloads. If you run more vCPUs or run them longer, more vCPU hours accrue. Standard AWS fees apply separately.
Am I charged when my Spark jobs are not running?
Charges accrue only while vCPUs process your accelerated Spark workloads. When no jobs run and vCPUs are idle, software charges stop for that time. This usage-based model has no fixed commitment. Underlying AWS compute or storage fees may still apply based on your cluster state.
How does this software attach to my EMR cluster?
The software installs as a bootstrap extension when you create an EMR Spark 6.x cluster. It runs as a native engine plug-in that accelerates your existing Spark jobs. You keep your current workflow, and vCPU hour charges begin once accelerated workloads consume compute.
