Overview The Nuvrix FinOps Retainer is a monthly managed service that maintains cost discipline on your AWS account after the initial review. Cloud spend doesn't stay optimised on its own - new resources are deployed, workloads scale, and the savings identified in an assessment erode without ongoing attention. This retainer keeps it in check.

What we do each month We run your cost and usage data through our query pack, produce a spend report covering the month's movements, and flag any anomalies or emerging waste before they compound. We implement one cost action per month on your behalf - a right-sizing change, a Savings Plan adjustment, a tag policy update, or a resource cleanup so the retainer delivers tangible outcomes, not just reporting.

What you receive Each month you get a spend report covering total AWS cost, period-over-period movement, anomalies flagged, and actions taken. You also get a running log of implemented changes and their estimated impact, which accumulates into a clear record of the value delivered by the retainer. Your team has access to the Nuvrix FinOps team between sessions for questions that come up mid-month.

Who it's for Organisations that have completed a Nuvrix Cloud Cost Review or AI Cost Review and want to maintain the discipline established rather than letting spend drift back. Also suited to teams whose AWS bill is predictable enough that a full review isn't warranted yet, but who want an eye on it each month.

How it works Onboarding takes one session to review the baseline from the initial engagement and agree the priority action backlog. From there the retainer runs on a fixed monthly cadence. No scope creep, no surprises on the invoice.
