• Currently large amounts of data are collected and uploaded into the cloud to develop AM features. Each vehicle is equipped with data logging devices that continuously record data onto hard drives. Once the hard drives are full, the test driver brings the hard drives to central locations and all the data is uploaded into the cloud.

Silent testing is a way to reduce the amount of irrelevant data. It does not require specific data logging devices instead the data is stored in a buffer for a certain time interval e.g., the last 20 seconds. Once an relevant event is identified the data in the buffer will be uploaded into the cloud with services like AWS IoT Fleetwise or AWS Greengras. To identify relevant events GEN AI can be used.
