A Well-Architected Review is a framework describing key concepts, design principles, and architectural best practices against defined Operations, Security, Reliability, Performance, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability pillars to improve workload architecture against best practices. A review is not an audit or to place blame but an opportunity to realize and take advantage of the full benefits of cloud.

A Well-Architected review determines whether your workload is meeting business goals. Customers often find using Well-Architected accelerates the pace of innovation, cost savings, and risk discovery and resolution opportunities on which to capitalize.

Knowing if your existing cloud workload(s) or your cloud migration project leverages cloud best practices can be difficult to assess on your own. Sierra-Cedar's Cloud Solution Architect Professionals will work with your business and technical stakeholders for a deep dive into the workload and compare current practices to a Well-Architected approach.

Sierra-Cedar will assess the identified workload using the AWS Well-Architected Tool to deliver a workload report containing risk classifications and an improvement plan.

Well-Architected Reviews vary due to the number of workloads under review, workload complexity, and the number of Well-Architected pillars prioritized for the review.
