Exein Analyzer is a firmware security and compliance analysis tool that helps Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across Industrial IoT, Robotics, MedTech & Health and Networking equipment scan firmware images to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance (e.g. EU Cyber Resilience Act - CRA) readiness, and automate regulatory documentation.
Exein Analyzer enhances the security of firmware images by continuously identifying common risks and vulnerabilities that attackers frequently exploit, enabling security and firmware engineers to address issues proactively. It also includes comprehensive compliance-check features that automatically verify firmware against leading industry standards and regulatory frameworks, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Pre-market validation: Detects known CVEs, misconfigurations, and supply chain risks without source code access
Software Bill of Material (SBOM) generation: Creates software bill of materials covering all dependencies in machine-readable formats required by regulators
CRA compliance check: Automatically checks compliance with CRA requirements via firmware analysis and identifies where self-certification is needed
AI Compliance Tool: Documentation intake, automated evidence generation, and audit-ready documentation, reducing certification preparation time and costs.

Highlights
No Source Code Access: Identifies vulnerabilities (CVE checks, weak configs, etc.) in Linux, Docker, RTOS and IDF (ESP32) images with no source code required.
Comprehensive CVE intelligence: Provides plain-language summaries, EPSS exploit prediction, detailed CVSS breakdowns, weakness classification, recommended fixes, and is exportable to standard formats such as CycloneDX.
Compliance Support: Helps companies ensure their firmware image is compliant with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Cyber Trust Mark, RED 3.3, ETSI EN 303-645, IEC 62443 and ISO 26262.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing has one pricing option: a 12-month subscription billed as a fixed contract. You pay a set fee for the term rather than per scan or per device. One subscription covers your whole organization and includes unlimited firmware scans, so cost does not rise as your scanning volume grows. The product analyzes firmware binaries and ingests SBOMs to find vulnerabilities before release. Because the structure is a single flat commitment, you know your total cost upfront for the year with no usage-based charges to track.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one firmware scan under this subscription?
A scan is an inspection of one firmware build. Exein Analyzer examines the compiled binary directly, or ingests your SBOM when the binary is not available. It surfaces dependencies, vendored libraries, and drivers, then scores which vulnerabilities are exploitable. Scans are unlimited, so build count does not affect your cost.
Does cost rise as we add more devices, teams, or build pipelines?
No. One subscription grants organization-wide access with unlimited firmware scans for the 12-month term. Scan volume, number of builds, and pipeline integrations do not change your fee. You can scan every new build through automated pipelines without triggering usage charges. The cost stays flat for the year.
What support and reporting come with the subscription?
You get installation and integration support, with replies within one business day. A helpdesk handles post-deployment technical requests. After activation, a dashboard provides system health status, security alerts, update reports, and security summaries. These services apply once the solution is installed and licensed.
