At DataGalaxy, we believe business value only happens when strategy, technology, and teams move in the same direction. Metadata is the foundation that makes this possible, turning alignment into measurable results.
The platform is built around four complementary products:
Metadata Center: Provides context and visibility across all data assets by connecting to sources, automating lineage, tagging sensitive information, and delivering the clarity needed to understand and trust data.
Governance Hub: Turns policies into actionable rules and real-time monitors, ensuring compliance and building trust for governance and risk teams.
Product Hub: Packages datasets, dashboards, and AI models into reusable, certified data products, enabling product owners to deliver trusted assets and business users to adopt them with confidence.
Strategy Center: Connects every use case and portfolio to business objectives, giving executives the visibility they need to prioritize investments and track value.
DataGalaxy goes beyond governance. The platform enables collaboration between business and technical teams, giving everyone a shared language and transparent ownership of data. With AI-powered assistants, documentation is automated, sensitive data is flagged, and discovery is accelerated through natural language search and intelligent suggestions.
Together, these modules and capabilities help organizations structure use cases, manage their portfolio, consolidate metadata, and govern assets at scale. The result is faster execution, trusted data and AI products, and clear evidence of business impact.
By combining enablement, collaboration, and AI-driven automation, DataGalaxy transforms governance from a compliance exercise into a catalyst for value creation.
Founded in Europe and rapidly expanding worldwide, DataGalaxy is trusted by more than 200 global enterprises, including Dior, Airbus, and SwissLife. Our mission is to help organizations transform governance into value by turning data and AI into trusted, measurable business outcomes.

This contract listing has two dimensions you buy together. The Standard unit covers 5 contributors plus unlimited readers. Contributors are users who edit and document data; readers view content without limits. The TEAM Catalog Subscription unit adds the TEAM PACK CATALOG, which supplies the catalog capability for your team. You commit under a contract term. Pricing scales by adding contributor capacity through Standard units, while readers stay unlimited. The catalog subscription is a separate line that provides the catalog platform itself. Together these units set both your user seats and your catalog access.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference between a contributor and a reader in the Standard unit?
A contributor is a user who edits, documents, and manages data assets in the catalog. A reader only views content such as definitions, lineage, and ownership without editing. Each Standard unit includes 5 contributor seats. Reader access is unlimited, so viewers do not add to your seat count.
How do the two units combine to form my total cost?
The two units bill together. The TEAM Catalog Subscription provides the catalog platform itself through the TEAM PACK CATALOG. The Standard unit sets your contributor seat capacity at 5, plus unlimited readers. You pay for the catalog access and the contributor seats as separate lines on the same contract.
What happens if I need more than 5 contributors?
The Standard unit provides 5 contributor seats plus unlimited readers. To add contributor capacity, you add more Standard units. Readers stay unlimited regardless, so growing view-only access adds no cost. Contact the vendor to confirm how additional Standard unit quantities apply to your contract.
