Overview
Cloud Engineering brings together the work required to take an organisation from an AWS account to a production platform its teams can operate with confidence.
A foundation that scales with you. We establish multi-account structure with AWS Organizations, access and identity through IAM Identity Center, centralised logging and audit trails, network design including private connectivity, and cost allocation that makes spend attributable per team and workload. The result is documented and reproducible — not a collection of console clicks nobody can explain six months later.
Workloads that deploy without drama. Applications run as containers on Amazon ECS, backed by Amazon RDS, fronted by Elastic Load Balancing and Amazon Route 53, with private administrative access rather than public entry points. Everything is defined as infrastructure-as-code in Terraform or AWS CDK and lives in your repositories, so environments are reproducible and every change is reviewable.
Delivery paths your developers choose voluntarily. We build CI/CD pipelines in the tooling you already use — GitLab CI or GitHub Actions — plus reusable modules and golden paths that take a team from repository to running service without opening an infrastructure ticket. Where a developer portal makes sense, we implement one so engineers have a single place to find what exists and how to use it.
Observability that answers questions. Metrics, logs, traces and alerting configured around the failure modes your systems actually have, so on-call engineers diagnose incidents instead of correlating dashboards.
How we work. Small senior teams embedded alongside yours, working inside your process rather than beside it. We transfer knowledge deliberately as we go — our engineers pair, review and teach — because a platform you cannot operate independently is a liability, not an asset. Engagements are typically scoped as an assessment, an implementation phase, and optional ongoing support as your teams take ownership.
SQUER is a team of more than 100 engineers based in Vienna and an AWS Selected Tier Partner. Our roots in legacy modernisation shape how we work: deep architecture know-how, Kubernetes and CNCF expertise, and a bias toward solutions that hold up in production — for mid-sized and large organisations across financial services, retail and industry.
Highlights
- Production-ready AWS foundation — multi-account baseline, containerised workloads and CI/CD delivered as infrastructure-as-code you own
- Self-service delivery for your teams — golden paths and reusable modules so developers ship without waiting on infrastructure tickets
- Handover, not dependency — our engineers pair, review and upskill your teams so the platform stays maintainable after we leave

What to expect Enquiries reach our AWS engagement team directly. We acknowledge new enquiries within one business day and respond substantively within two, during business hours Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET (UTC+1 / UTC+2 in summer). We are based in Vienna, Austria and work primarily in English and German.
Scope of support Support covers scoping and clarification before purchase, and delivery-related questions during an active engagement. Each engagement includes a named contact who is your escalation path throughout. Where an engagement includes ongoing support, response times and availability are defined in the applicable statement of work, which takes precedence over the times above.
