RSA Governance & Lifecycle Cloud is a full-featured identity governance and administration (IGA) solution that helps organizations gain control over user access and reduce identity-related risk, without the complexity of managing infrastructure. Delivered as a fully managed service in AWS, it provides deep visibility into who has access to what across applications, systems, and data. This complete access visibility helps ensure that only the right users can reach sensitive resources, lowering the risk of unauthorized or unnecessary access. The solution uses advanced analytics and real-time dashboards to surface identity risks, prioritize anomalies, and flag policy violations so teams can make faster, more informed decisions. Built-in automation streamlines access requests, reviews, and lifecycle operations, reducing manual work while enforcing policies and meeting regulatory requirements. RSA's risk engine delivers unified identity intelligence, supporting identity security posture management (ISPM) and helping organizations align with Zero Trust principles through least-privilege access and continuous validation of user entitlements. RSA Governance & Lifecycle Cloud improves operational efficiency by empowering users with self-service access requests and giving IT and security teams more time to focus on strategic initiatives. Built-in auditing and tracking simplify compliance and accelerate reporting. Whether supporting cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments, the solution delivers the same powerful capabilities across all deployment models, giving organizations the flexibility to scale and grow their identity programs with confidence.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single contract-based dimension priced by Active Users, sold in blocks of 5,000. Your cost scales with the number of active users you govern, not by features or server size. You buy this identity governance and lifecycle service under a fixed commitment term. To cover more users, you add more Active User units. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions to choose between — pricing is driven solely by user volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Active User for billing purposes?
An Active User is an identity the service governs and manages through its lifecycle. This includes accounts moving through joiner, mover, and leaver stages. Billing counts these managed identities, not devices or servers. You are billed by user volume, sold in blocks of 5,000 Active Users.
What happens to my cost when my active user count grows beyond 5,000?
Pricing scales in blocks of 5,000 Active Users. To cover more users, you add more Active User units to your contract. Each added block increases your committed cost. The unit count you commit to defines your capacity for governed identities.
Does the price change based on which governance features or environments I use?
No. Cost is driven only by Active User volume, not by features or deployment environment. The service runs identity governance and lifecycle capabilities across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments under the same user-based pricing. You do not select separate feature tiers.

Enhanced Security: RSA tokens significantly increase security by requiring a second factor for authentication, making it much more difficult for unauthorized users to gain access. This helps protect against phishing attacks, password breaches, and other threats. Flexibility: RSA tokens can come in different forms, such as physical hardware tokens, software tokens (mobile apps), or push notifications, offering flexibility to users and organizations. Wide Adoption: RSA tokens have been widely adopted by various industries, including finance, healthcare, and government, demonstrating their effectiveness and reliability. User-Friendly: Most RSA token solutions are designed to be user-friendly, with simple interfaces and easy-to-follow instructions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: Implementing an RSA token solution can be expensive, especially for large organizations, as it involves purchasing tokens, software licenses, and potentially additional infrastructure. Dependence on Token: Users need to have their RSA token with them to authenticate, which can be inconvenient if they lose or forget it. Potential for Technical Issues: Like any technology, RSA tokens can experience technical issues or malfunctions, causing disruptions and requiring troubleshooting. User Training: While user-friendly, RSA tokens may still require some training or onboarding for users who are not familiar with 2FA.
