What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Aviatrix was for studying the S during that month.
What is most valuable?
The best features Aviatrix offers, in my opinion, include the affordability of their multi-cloud offering.
The affordability and multi-cloud offering stand out to me compared to other platforms because it makes it easier for companies to actually enter the cloud space since it is affordable compared to other offerings from AWS, Google, and Microsoft Azure.
Aviatrix has impacted my organization and personal learning experience positively by bringing about the sense that as companies are scaling to the cloud, one of the major contributing factors is cost. As people are reviewing the cost, it is actually one of Aviatrix's main advantages that companies can customize how they spend on their cloud infrastructure.
What needs improvement?
I think Aviatrix can be improved in terms of marketing and ensuring that many people know about it, as I believe it still leaves much to be desired. I only came to know about it when I was offered the chance to study it. Given what they are offering and how competitive they are, they need to improve their marketing, especially to companies and corporate clients, so that they can be more competitive in the market. I think their marketing is still below standard, and many people do not really know about it. They need to improve their marketing and advertising to win a percentage in the cloud space.
In addition to marketing, another needed improvement for Aviatrix is that I think they are more well-versed in the European market. I am not certain about the African side, but I think they could also capture a portion of that market. I believe they could improve in that respect.
In terms of offering, I think Aviatrix could possibly open up more structured learning. This would also serve as a form of marketing for them by offering more courses about Aviatrix, which would get more people interested in their services and offerings and generate more industry discussion about them.

I have been using Aviatrix for a month.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Based on my studies and hands-on labs, Aviatrix is quite stable. In the multi-cloud environment, I think it is still leading. It is very stable.

From what I experienced and learned, I think Aviatrix's scalability is quite good. Out of ten, I would rate them at seven in terms of scalability.
How are customer service and support?
I did not get to experience the customer support side of it since I am not using it from a corporate client perspective, but rather just for studies.

I did not use a previous solution before Aviatrix. This was for study purposes.
How was the initial setup?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing during my studies was that the setup was much easier compared to other cloud platforms. I am still intrigued by the cost, as it can actually be customizable by the company or per client. The cost and setup are quite good.
What was our ROI?
I think Aviatrix is going to grow in the next few years, and we will see it dominating the market. I would say investing in Aviatrix would actually be a good return on investment in the coming few years.

I remember covering it in one of my modules, that Aviatrix actually saves so much on cost, especially in terms of the human personnel needed to actually utilize Aviatrix. I think there is cost saving there, which is one good aspect of Aviatrix.

Aviatrix was deployed in my lab environment for study purposes, and I covered all the hybrid, private, and cloud aspects.

Aviatrix is going to dominate in the coming years in the multi-cloud space, and I really appreciate that I was able to participate in their academy. I would say they are actually a good platform that is going to grow if they can improve their marketing, visibility, and branding. What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Aviatrix is for port forwarding. Whenever I have to make a project on my own local machine and also test that it would work in production, then I use Aviatrix for forwarding the port of my local machine. Then I integrate that with my company's product, and then I see if it's hitting the Aviatrix requests.
Day-to-day, whenever I open the terminal, first I'll start with the HTTP port number, which helps me connect that with my local Visual Studio editor code so that whatever goes through that port will be transported to the Aviatrix terminal. Then I connect this Aviatrix URL address with my company's product, and then I test it. Whenever I run the code, an ideal request should hit the Aviatrix server.
The scope of Aviatrix use is that everyone uses it in my company, and I also use it solo.
What is most valuable?
I think the best features of Aviatrix include port forwarding, which would be the most highly used feature. I have used that, and all my fellow seniors and teammates have used that only. The free tier which we are using is free. It's very easily integrable, and there's no setup guide needed for using that.
Aviatrix has actually impacted my organization significantly; it is actually pretty important to use Aviatrix daily. I think it has contributed significantly to our workflow. Without that, if we had used some other local code editor and then tested it manually every time, it would have taken a lot more time. I think it has improved the efficiency almost by fifty percent. Productivity obviously has increased so much.
What needs improvement?
A suggestion I would make for Aviatrix is to maybe make the terminal more user-friendly. I use Windows, so it's not a problem, but I don't know how it would work in a Linux or Ubuntu-based system. It works more efficiently in a Mac system versus a Windows, so I think they should improve on the Windows one. Other than that, I don't have any suggestions at this time; it's a good product.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
When I first implemented Aviatrix, it took a bit of time as the first issue was that I was facing a problem due to the terminal not opening. That was an issue on my PC since I had not put the correct address for that. After that, I haven't faced any Aviatrix issues and it's pretty stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Adoption of Aviatrix has been widespread; I think everyone in our company who is working in the tech domain, especially the full-stack developers, are using it in the same manner for the port transfer. I don't think anyone is a super user. Everyone is using it in the same, casual manner.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before I landed on Aviatrix, I was manually using my own Visual Studio code editor, which is a local code editor. I was a college student, so I hadn't pushed anything in production, so I didn't need port transfer.
How was the initial setup?
My team did not need formal training on Aviatrix as it was very easy. We just had to download it and use it as we use our local Studio code editor.
What other advice do I have?
There may be features that came up during implementation that I'm not actually using, but we didn't have any use case for other features. The only concern for us was the port forwarding; that's why we were using Aviatrix. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

My main use case for Aviatrix is primarily in cloud networking and secure multi-cloud architecture projects.
In one project, I used Aviatrix to set up secure connectivity between AWS and Azure environments using its transit gateway architecture and centralized firewall policies. This helped us simplify routing, enforce security, and get better visibility across our multi-cloud setup.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Aviatrix is for managing our multi-cloud environment. We have our environment on Azure cloud, AWS, or GCP. We are in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment. To have centralized console or control to manage all of those cloud environments through a single console, we are using Aviatrix to manage it. It becomes very easier to manage from the centralized console from an administration point of view.
What is most valuable?
Apart from the centralized management console, Aviatrix gives the additional advantage or simplifies the way we manage the cloud environments. When it comes to troubleshooting or more networking-related issues, the native cloud solution has limited options available within the cloud environment. Aviatrix provides those additional benefits to manage effectively when managing troubleshooting or issues.
Aviatrix is making our day-to-day job easier and also saving a lot of time because it gives options for cloud-to-cloud peering, as well as a transit hub and spoke architecture. It simplifies how we manage the multi-cloud environment through the single console, and the connectivity options become very easier.
Aviatrix supports the automation platform. It supports Infrastructure as Code (IAC), which makes deployment faster with automation. This reduces operational overhead.
Aviatrix has positively impacted my organization by making management and administration easier, allowing us to manage all the cloud infrastructure from a single console. There is less overhead on operations due to automation support, and cloud network segmentation has become more advanced.
What needs improvement?
I have seen some cosmetic bugs with Aviatrix, particularly with the console. Although the Aviatrix team releases versions to address these concerns, I have personally observed that the console can be slower to respond at times.
One area I would like to highlight for needed improvements is the documentation. The technical documents available on the platform are not very in-depth. If Aviatrix provides more detailed documentation on the technical infrastructure, it would be more helpful for customers to evaluate, learn, and gain knowledge about the platform.

When you have a multi-cloud environment, it becomes easier to justify the platform's cost. However, for very small environments or those using only one cloud platform, it may not justify the expense. Nevertheless, if your organization can afford it, you should go for it because it is a very stable, centralized solution that simplifies managing cloud operations.
