AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy access based on the size of your codebase, measured in lines of code and comments. Five tiers scale with your application size: under 100,000, under 250,000, under 500,000, under 1 million, and under 5 million lines. Pick the tier that covers your total lines of code and comments. As your codebase grows, you move to a tier with a higher line-count ceiling. A separate Evaluation option lets you evaluate code and parse it before committing to a size tier.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts toward the line-of-code total that sets my tier?
Your tier is based on total lines of code plus comment lines in your codebase. Both source lines and embedded comment lines are counted together. Pick the tier whose ceiling covers your combined total. If your codebase has 300,000 code and comment lines, you need the under-500,000 tier.
What does the Evaluation option do compared to the size tiers?
The Evaluation option lets you evaluate your code and parse it before committing to a size tier. It measures your codebase so you can confirm the right line-count tier. The size tiers deliver ongoing documentation for a codebase up to their line ceiling.
What happens if my codebase grows past my current tier's line limit?
Each tier covers a codebase up to its stated line ceiling. When your combined code and comment lines pass that limit, you move to a tier with a higher ceiling. You upload the latest code baseline to refresh documentation, so you choose the tier that fits your current size.
