AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy Air Gap Protect storage under an annual contract, priced per terabyte (TB) per year. Pricing splits along two dimensions. First, your geographic region: US & Canada, EMEA, APJ, or South America. Second, your access tier: Frequent or Infrequent. Frequent tiers suit data you access often, while Infrequent tiers suit data accessed rarely. You select the region and tier that match your workload, then pay based on the number of TB you protect. Costs scale directly with storage volume, so more data protected means more TB billed each year.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What determines the difference between the Frequent and Infrequent access tiers when I choose one?
The tier reflects how often you access the protected data. Frequent tiers suit data you retrieve regularly, while Infrequent tiers suit data you rarely touch. Both store immutable, air-gapped copies. You select the tier matching your workload, then pay per TB per year for that tier and region.
What counts as one TB for billing, and does my cost change as protected data grows?
You are billed per terabyte of data you protect in the isolated, air-gapped storage. Cost scales directly with the volume stored. As your protected data grows, the number of TB billed rises accordingly. Each region and tier meters its own TB total separately under the annual contract.
If I protect data across several regions, how do the charges combine on my bill?
Each region and tier bills independently as its own dimension, per TB per year. Charges do not roll into a single pool. You pay separately for TB stored in US & Canada, EMEA, APJ, and South America, and separately for Frequent versus Infrequent within each region. All appear on the same invoice.

Plans and CommandCenter delivered a clear, structured backup overview
Reviewed on Jul 23, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Transitioning to Plans really helped re-evaluating all workloads and their needs so in the end we now have a structured and clear overview of our backups and an easy onboarding processs for new clients without the need to dig into configuration details. The CommandCenter also really helped our users having a clearer and more focused overview of their backups and important settings without getting distracted by unimportant menus they don't need. I am really looking forward on improvements also for administrators.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like upgraded Commcells existing for various major versions are not considered that strongly in the documentation and overall development. New deployments and configurations have different defaults than existing Commcells and we are always faced with new issues and optimization tasks which require intensive manual work (e.g. writing suitable API scripts) to adjust certain behaviour or performance characteristics. There should be a comprehensive guide or report to optimize Commcell environments regardless of age and previous history.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Commvault supports all kind of workloads and we never encountered any major issues with configuration, backup or restore of any of them. In general Commvault just works and does not really need micomanagement like other backup solutions. The reliability and flexibility really helps focusing on overall improvements of our environment without getting distracted by too many everyday task.
