CMDB-360 is a turn-key platform built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or any organization dedicated to IT service delivery. CMDB-360 is a configuration management database which discovers and manages details about the IT assets that you manage for your customers.
CMDB-360 gathers IT asset details using proprietary, secure technology named "Satellites". Satellites are typically deployed remotely in your customer's cloud tenancy or on-premise and gather details based on the underlying platform, including OCI, Azure, AWS, Vmware and others. You may deploy Satellites in a number of ways, including from the AWS Marketplace.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour for the CMDB-360 Base Station appliance, billed on the compute instance size you run it on. The four dimensions map to AWS instance types: t4g.medium, t4g.large, t4g.xlarge, and t4g.2xlarge. These are not feature tiers. They differ only in the underlying compute capacity, moving from smaller to larger instances. You choose the size that fits your deployment, and the hourly rate scales with it. Billing follows actual usage hours, so cost tracks how long you run the instance.

What does the Base Station instance actually do once I deploy it?
The Base Station is a cloud appliance that aggregates discovery data from Satellites and presents one unified view of your assets. It requests asset detail on demand and holds it only while a user views records. The instance size you choose runs this appliance inside your own cloud tenancy.
Am I charged when the Base Station instance is stopped or powered off?
Hourly software charges accrue only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops the hourly software meter. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the software charge tracks running hours only.
What separates the four instance-size options besides the hourly rate?
The four options — t4g.medium, t4g.large, t4g.xlarge, and t4g.2xlarge — differ only in compute capacity. Larger sizes provide more CPU and memory for the appliance. They are not feature tiers; each runs the same Base Station software. Pick the size matching your deployment scale.

Once your CMDB-360 Base Station appliance has been deployed, you will need to either (1) deploy a load balancer with SSL certificate support or (2) directly configure your instance with an SSL certificate.
