Overview
HCLTech's Enterprise container platform delivers production grade Amazon EKS environments integrated with essential building blocks including application and platform observability, security and governance, backups, DR, container registry, and cost management. The Platform is powered by ePACE, HCLTEch’s extensible Platform Automation and Configuration Engine which automates provisioning and management of entire AWS EKS platform along with seamless integration with your IT ecosystem with pre-built templates and blueprints available in both cloud-native AWS CloudFormation templates and cloud-agnostic terraform scripts.
The professional services offer comes bundled with three services to ensure seamless life-cycle management of the platform: - Design and Build: Design and provision the enterprise platform with validated architecture and best practices - Onboard and Stabilize: Standardize and accelerate application onboarding - Operate and Improve: Modern operations with a team of SREs and PREs.
The professional services begin with a 2-week workshop with customers to capture and finalize the platform requirements, such as platform architecture, security, sizing, and scaling needs. These requirements are recorded in a version-controlled template that feeds into HCLTech's ePACE (extensible Platform Automation and Configuration Engine). Parallelly, the ePACE Center of Excellence team provisions a tenant Infrastructure as Code (IaC) DevOps environment and proceeds with one time customization. Once the customizations are complete, the enterprise platform can be provisioned with 100% automation and made available in less than 4 hours. Any new environments can also be provisioned with the same velocity and minimal configuration inputs, reducing a typical 12 weeks of manual exercise to less than 5 days.
