Keep WordPress sites current with less manual security work. KUSANAGI Enterprise Edition automates routine OS and middleware updates, scans daily for malware, and runs Analyzer checks to find issues early. It helps you move to eligible nginx and PHP versions while the site remains available, without setting up a test VM. Support is included.
Security operations that scale with your WordPress sites
As your WordPress sites grow, routine patches, malware checks, and major upgrades become harder to keep up with. KUSANAGI Enterprise Edition helps keep this work moving in a high-performance WordPress and CMS VM on Amazon EC2, covering the OS, middleware, and WordPress in one product. It applies routine OS and middleware updates automatically, runs daily malware scans and Analyzer checks, and uses SafeUpgrade to test eligible nginx and PHP upgrades alongside the live site before switching. This helps you spend less time on repeat maintenance and find issues that need action early.
Automate routine work and find issues early
Automatic OS and middleware updates: Automatically apply eligible updates to reduce manual patching and keep routine updates from piling up. Choose what to update and when it runs.
SafeUpgrade: Keep nginx and PHP upgrades from being postponed because of test environment setup or downtime planning. For eligible upgrades, SafeUpgrade builds and tests a parallel environment on the same VM, then switches versions while your site remains available.
Daily malware scans: Check for malware and viruses with scanning designed for WordPress environments.
Analyzer checks: Find potential security issues early, including risky files in publicly accessible directories, WordPress configuration issues, and signs of possible server intrusion. Review findings and recommended actions to decide what needs attention.
Access controls: Keep access rules manageable as offices and vendors change. Maintain allowed and blocked IP addresses in text files, and configure IP restrictions and Basic authentication with simple commands.
After you register a VM, KUSANAGI Portal emails a report that combines Analyzer check results with automatic update and malware scan results. Group VMs and set recipients for each group, so you can see what ran and what needs follow-up across multiple VMs.
AI capabilities for WordPress operations
KUSANAGI AI Assist helps you review plugin findings, such as compatibility concerns, and ask a configured AI service what to check next. Its read-only MCP connection lets you check KUSANAGI and WordPress status from compatible clients.
Supported KUSANAGI commands can return JSON, making status results easier to use in monitoring scripts and AI tools.
From deployment to ongoing operations
Tested WordPress and long-term updates: Tested against the latest WordPress release series, with module updates until the base OS EOL.
Product support: Bundled product support in Japanese and English covers installation, initial configuration, basic use, and initial triage of reproducible issues. Support hours are business days, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Japan Time. You can submit requests on the support site at any time.
To receive reports and use support, visit KUSANAGI Portal, create a KUSANAGI ID or sign in, then register your VM in KUSANAGI Portal.

You pay by the hour for each running server, with no separate license fee tied to CPU core count. The many options you see are all the same software priced across different EC2 instance types and sizes. Each dimension maps to a specific instance family and size, from small shared instances up to large compute, memory, storage, and accelerated options. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and the hourly rate reflects that choice. AWS cloud infrastructure fees apply separately. A one-month trial runs with no license fee.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of hourly billing cover for this software?
Each unit is one running server, meaning one EC2 instance of the family and size you pick. The hourly rate is charged per server, with no extra license fee based on CPU core count. If you run several servers, each one is billed separately at its own rate.
Am I charged the software fee when my server is stopped or powered off?
The software fee meters running hours per server. A fully powered-off server stops accruing the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS infrastructure fees, such as storage for stopped instances, are separate and billed by AWS, not through this software license.
Does picking a bigger instance change my software license cost or just the AWS cost?
Each instance type and size maps to its own hourly software rate, so a larger instance can carry a different software rate. AWS cloud infrastructure fees also change with size and apply separately. There is no added license fee tied to CPU core count.
