What counts as one node for billing purposes?
A node is a worker machine in your Kubernetes cluster, typically an EC2 instance running your containers. The software counts each active node in your monitored EKS clusters. If you run nodes across multiple clusters, every node adds to your monthly total.
How does my monthly charge change when my cluster scales up or down?
Billing follows the number of nodes running. Adding nodes raises your monthly charge; removing nodes lowers it. There is no fixed subscription regardless of size. Autoscaling events that change node counts affect what you pay for that period.
What capabilities do I get across my nodes at this per-node rate?
Each node is covered for Kubernetes cost optimization, workload right-sizing, policy governance, container vulnerability scanning, and compliance visibility.
