The Webscale Cloud Secure Web Application Firewall (WAF) integrates application awareness by building out robust protection for both data traffic at the browser level, and the complete backend application infrastructure, in a SaaS solution.
The Cloud Secure WAF includes PCI-DSS compatibility, and enables every application with an enhanced level of security, avoiding downtime or performance degradation through malicious attacks, such as distributed denial of service (DDoS). Webscale's Cloud Secure WAF provides access control functionality like blacklisting and whitelisting, and support for extensive security policies, including protection against the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities as well as any application specific or custom rulesets. It also includes the ability to analyze sessions in real-time for bot mitigation and anomaly detection. The Cloud Secure WAF enables best-in-class HTTPS support with the latest SSL/TLS standards without having to make any changes to the application infrastructure, ensuring better encryption and offload from the application servers. The SaaS delivery model combined with advanced functionality enables significantly reduced operational costs and complexity.
