Weather-AIS Maritime Intelligence Platform by Successive

     Info
Successive Digital helps maritime organizations modernize how they access and act on AIS and environmental data by engineering scalable, AWS-native solutions tailored to operational, compliance, and analytics needs. We work with shipping companies, port authorities, offshore operators, and maritime SaaS providers to ingest, process, and serve both real-time and historical datasets from satellite AIS and weather data sources. Using services like Amazon Kinesis, Redshift, S3, Glue, and API Gateway, we build secure, query-optimized pipelines that support data-driven decisions, voyage optimization, and regulatory reporting.

    Overview

Maritime operators increasingly rely on accurate and timely AIS and weather intelligence to optimize voyage planning, avoid disruptions, and meet regulatory requirements like EU ETS and CII. However, inconsistent data formats, siloed providers, and performance bottlenecks often limit the usability of this data. Successive Digital addresses this by engineering custom ingestion and analytics solutions that deliver unified, high-performance maritime data infrastructure on AWS.

We help clients ingest real-time vessel tracking and weather feeds for global coverage and operational accuracy. Streaming AIS data is processed and delivered through Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose into Amazon Redshift, enabling low-latency access to vessel position and movement history. For historical AIS and environmental data, we use Amazon S3 and AWS Glue to parse and normalize legacy formats, standardizing them for analytics and compliance use.

Structured insights are made available through APIs built with Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda, allowing operations teams, compliance analysts, and digital platforms to access enriched voyage and environmental data on demand. Identity and access controls are enforced using Amazon Cognito, while Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail provide full observability, auditing, and system health monitoring. The entire architecture is deployed within Amazon VPC to ensure secure and isolated network operations.

    Key Features

    1. AIS and Weather Data Integration Engineering ingestion pipelines that consolidate vessel tracking and environmental inputs.

    2. Real-Time + Historical Processing High-velocity ingestion via Kinesis; legacy datasets parsed and normalized with Glue.

    3. Optimized Maritime Analytics Infrastructure Data modeled in Redshift for fast spatial and time-series querying.

    4. Secure, Custom API Enablement Role-based access to voyage and forecast data through scalable APIs.

    5. End-to-End Observability and Governance Built-in logging, metrics, and audit trails using native AWS services.

    Highlights
