Overview Security is essential to a healthy and resilient AWS environment. We bundled three key components into SecurityHQ’s Security Assessment to help you quickly enhance your security posture and move from insights to action.

AWS best practices Using the six pillars identified in the AWS Well-Architected Framework, SecurityHQ empowers organizations with insight to ensure a secure and optimal cloud experience for users. We assess your infrastructure for operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability. This comprehensive approach enables us to provide you with tailored recommendations to address risks and leverage opportunities, proactively mitigate security vulnerabilities, implement cost optimization measures, and pursue additional improvements as your AWS environment evolves.

Cloud security posture Gain insight into elements that may help or hinder your cloud security posture, including evaluation of current security posture and tools, resource allocations, potential vulnerabilities and threats, regulatory compliance risks, preventive measures, and application of best practices. We also assess discrete areas within your AWS environment that may represent cloud security risks, such as improper functions and role-based controls (RBACs) and overly permissive identities and entitlements.

Attack surface & threat intelligence Receive actionable insights to improve your AWS security posture with an external attack surface assessment. Detect issues across eight different categories, including vulnerable services and incorrect configurations on your external attack surface, network security such as open ports of remote administration services and insecure service headers, leaked corporate and employee credentials that are published or being sold online, malware and malicious program interactions, online mentions by threat actors, SSL/TLS state and strength, email security, DNS security, and domains that may be impersonating your organization on the web.
