AWS Identity and Access Management with OIDC federation, AWS Organizations, AWS Control Tower, Amazon ECS on AWS Fargate, Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECR, Amazon S3, AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CodeArtifact, and AWS Key Management Service. Third party components are GitLab CI and HashiCorp Terraform, with optional Snyk and Datadog integration.

Delivery approach and timeline

Phase 1, Assessment and platform design, 5 business days. Current pipeline inventory, deployment path mapping, DORA baseline, target platform design and a migration sequence.

Phase 2, Foundation, 10 business days. Terraform state architecture and module structure, OIDC federation between GitLab and AWS across target accounts, environment and account topology, secrets management, and the first golden path template.

Phase 3, Service onboarding, 10 to 25 business days depending on dimension. Migration of the agreed set of services onto the golden path, environment promotion with gates, automated rollback, and integration testing in the pipeline.

Phase 4, Security and handover, 10 business days. Security scanning in pipeline, policy as code, DORA instrumentation and dashboards, runbooks, and two enablement sessions with your engineers.
