Automate package sorting for logistics, parcel, and fulfillment teams with SaaS AI OCR that classifies packages, reads labels and barcodes, and outputs verified CSV data.
Logistics and fulfillment operations lose time, accuracy, and capacity when teams must manually identify package types, validate shipment data, and resolve unreadable labels. Package Classification by KritiKal Solutions is a cloud-native SaaS solution that helps automate package recognition and data extraction so high-volume hubs can process shipments with fewer manual errors.
This AI OCR and computer vision solution detects packages, classifies package types, reads printed text, extracts label and barcode data, and generates structured CSV outputs for downstream logistics workflows. Images can be uploaded to a designated cloud location using an API or desktop upload workflow, processed using GPU-based inference, and returned with validated shipment information.
Key Features
CSV and package image upload: Ingest package scanning machine images and compare captured package details against CSV data for verification.
Image extraction and quality assessment: Assess low light, bright light, distortion, contrast, and sharpness, then enhance images for more reliable OCR.
AI package classification: Detect and locate packages, text boxes, and labels using bounding boxes, then classify formats such as cardboard boxes, flyers, and flyer-over-box packages.
OCR text reading and entity extraction: Crop text regions, perform word detection and OCR, and extract key entities such as dimensions, AWB number, date, and place.
Label and barcode reading: Identify barcode data, read label content with OCR, extract key fields using entity recognition, and upload structured results to CSV.
Custom classification criteria: Classify packages by size, shape, dimensions, characteristics, defects, damage status, and routing requirements.
Cloud GPU processing: Run triggered or scheduled processing in a cloud-deployed workflow designed for API and desktop upload operations.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.

This contract-based listing charges by scan volume across three plans. The Starter Plan and Professional Plan each include a set number of scans in the base contract. Once you pass the included amount, each extra scan is billed at a per-scan rate. A one-time platform fee covers customization for your requirements. The Enterprise Plan applies when usage exceeds 150,000 scans; you work with the Sales Team to arrange customized pricing. As your scan volume grows, you move from included allowances to per-scan overage charges, then to a negotiated Enterprise arrangement.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one scan for billing purposes?
A scan is one package image processed by the system. The scanning machine captures the image, then the AI detects the package, reads text, labels, and barcodes, and writes the extracted details to a CSV. Each processed image counts as one scan against your included allowance.
What happens if my scan volume goes above the amount included in my plan?
On the Starter Plan and Professional Plan, scans beyond the included amount are billed per scan at that plan's overage rate. Only the extra scans are charged this way; your included scans stay covered by the base contract. Beyond 150,000 scans, the Enterprise Plan applies with customized pricing.
Besides scan charges, what else affects my total cost?
A one-time platform fee applies for customization based on your requirements. On the Starter Plan this fee applies; on the Professional Plan it may apply. This is separate from per-scan charges. Enterprise usage above 150,000 scans is arranged directly with the Sales Team for customized pricing.
