TachTech Engineers will facilitate the migration of an on-premises Imperva Web Application Firewall to an AWS implementation
Overview
In collaboration with your IT or DevOps team, TachTech Engineers will architect the ideal AWS environment to mirror the functionality and performance of your existing on-premises Imperva WAF implementation.
Methodology
We start by collaborating with you to understand your current Imperva configuration, workload, and utilization. TachTech Engineers will document the existing on-premises infrastucture supporting the application and the Imperva WAF implementation and design the ideal AWS architecture to support the migrated application workload and supporting Imperva WAF capabilities. All existing WAF compliance reports will be preserved and enhanced as needed to align with governance requirements. We will define a series of milestones for implementation including key steps for introduction of the WAF in non-blocking mode, analysis, and ultimately updating the WAF to blocking mode. Many customers also consider a follow on phase to perform penetration testing.
Deliverables
TachTech's engineers will deliver Development, Test, and QA Environments via AWS CloudFormation, or your prefered "Infrastrucure as Code" tooling, to support the DevOps lifecycle and migrated Imperva implementation validation. Migration project plans Application and Imperva architecture, implementation, and operations documentation.
