You buy this vendor threat monitoring product under a contract, priced by the number of vendors you monitor. Four options scale by vendor count. The Third Party - SMB option covers up to 150 monitored vendors and applies only to companies with fewer than 200 employees. Third Party - Tier 1 also covers up to 150 monitored vendors. Third Party - Tier 2 raises coverage to 1,500 monitored vendors. Third Party - Tier 3 covers up to 3,000 monitored vendors. You pick the option that matches your vendor count and, for the SMB option, your company size.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one monitored vendor for billing purposes?
A monitored vendor is any supplier, partner, or SaaS provider you track. You can extend coverage to third-, fourth-, and fifth-party suppliers in your ecosystem. Each tracked vendor counts toward your tier's limit, whether up to 150, 1,500, or 3,000 vendors.
What happens if I need to monitor more vendors than my tier allows?
Each tier caps the number of vendors you can monitor. To track more vendors, you move to a tier with a higher limit. The Third Party - SMB and Tier 1 options cover up to 150 vendors, Tier 2 covers up to 1,500, and Tier 3 covers up to 3,000.
What is the difference between the SMB and Tier 1 options if both cover 150 vendors?
Both options monitor up to 150 vendors. The Third Party - SMB option is valid only for companies with fewer than 200 employees. Third Party - Tier 1 carries no employee restriction, so larger companies with the same vendor count choose it.
