What do you like best about the product?
The data mapping ability from many interconnected systems and being able to see it visually is incredible. The data flow tool is handy from a system topology standpoint to see how data interacts with our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an administrative standpoint, Ethyca lacks SSO / SCIM support as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of CCPA and PII deletion and requests workflows in our environment. Up to this point, this process has been entirely manual and leaves many chances for error.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team at Ethyca is extremely helpful, hands-on, and responsive. They even worked with our legal counsel to make sure our privacy policy was accurate and up to date. They are truly experts in data privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is quite a bit of setup required if your company uses many services, but Ethycas thorough integration documentation makes the setup very straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ethyca handles all of our data privacy needs related to CCPA and GDPR, including hosting our privacy center, consent management, data erasure requests, and data download requests. This has taken a significant amount of stress and confusion off of our customer service team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Ethyca to any organization where a non-technical person will be handling the implementation and setup. The Ethyca support team is incredibly helpful, responsive (shockingly, at all hours of the day) and great at explaining complicated or confusing subjects in a way that is clear and helpful. They've made me feel like a data privacy expert.

The support and education that the Ethyca provides right off the bat. Ethyca went above and beyond to help my team understand compliance.

How difficult it is to navigate GDPR and CCPA compliance as a whole. Understanding how to ensure how company compliance is a difficult task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ethyca helped us automate our GDPR and CCPA compliance within all of the platforms. Ethyca makes it easy for our customers to consent, download their data and ask for erasure from our system.

This is a great platform for all your GDPR and CCPA compliance needs. They help make this process as simple and easy as possible.

GDPR/CCPA compliance regulations. Data mapping tool eases internal pressure and workloads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to review all servers external and internal for data use cases. If possible, work towards having full API integrations with the Ethyca solution, limiting the number of manual removal requests.
