AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a preconfigured Prometheus image running on Ubuntu 26, with vendor support included. Pricing scales by the EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so your hourly rate follows the compute, memory, storage, or GPU capacity of that instance. Smaller general-purpose sizes bill lower per hour, while large compute, memory, storage, GPU, and bare-metal instances bill more. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs. Select the instance family and size that fits your workload to control cost.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on each instance type?
You get a preconfigured Prometheus image on Ubuntu 26, deployed on the EC2 instance size you select. The rate covers the software image and vendor support. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so the hourly rate reflects that instance's compute, memory, storage, or GPU capacity.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
The software charge meters running hours only. When you stop or power off an instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees for the volume may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those are separate from this listing's hourly rate.
How does support work if I run into problems with the image?
Vendor support is included with the hourly rate. To open a ticket, you submit your AWS subscription ID and the product name, then describe the issue. A representative follows up. Support covers the deployed image itself.
