AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You choose between two purchase options. Red5 Cloud Pay As You Grow bills usage only in a single region (Chicago), with no commitment. Red5 Cloud Growth adds a fixed contract plus usage, and supports scaling across regions. Both options meter the same three usage dimensions. You pay per gigabyte of data delivered, per minute of node uptime (streaming server run time), and per PubNub transaction for real-time interactive features like chat and messaging. The PubNub charge applies only if you use those features. Usage costs scale with how much you stream, run nodes, and interact.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one node uptime minute, and am I charged when a node is stopped?
Node uptime meters the run time of a streaming server node, billed per minute. Charges accrue while a node runs and delivers streams. The platform provisions nodes on demand rather than keeping infrastructure always on, so you stop accruing uptime charges when nodes are not running.
Which usage dimension usually drives the largest part of my bill?
You pay per gigabyte of data delivered, per minute of node uptime, and per PubNub transaction. All three bill independently on the same invoice. Data delivered and node uptime scale with streaming volume and viewer count. PubNub transactions only add cost if you use interactive features like chat, messaging, or presence.
How does Pay As You Grow differ mechanically from the Growth option?
Red5 Cloud Pay As You Grow charges usage only, with no fixed commitment, and runs in a single region (Chicago). Red5 Cloud Growth adds a fixed contract fee plus usage and supports scaling across multiple regions. Both meter the same three usage dimensions the same way.
