Overview
IBM Technology Expert Labs deep, technical, product-oriented consultants will configure IBM Cloudability capabilities, delivered in partnership with your organiztaion via regular working sessions where configuration and enablement activities are completed. The goal of this engagement is to assist your enterprise in achieving the use cases that will help exploit the full capabilities of IBM Cloudability (Essentials, Standard, Premium) available based on your entitlements and the use cases as prioritized jointly.
This Cloudability Onboarding professional services offerings enable these capabiities:
- Enable the Client on basic Cloudability application functionality.
- IBM will Credential the Cloudability application and conduct work sessions, each approximately 50 minutes in length, to focus on Cloudability configuration and enable the Client on specific use cases prioritized between the client and IBM Apptio and based on the Cloud Service and Onboarding package entitlement purchased by the Client.
Throughout the project, IBM will work with the Client to configure the IBM Cloudability Solution and conduct appropriate knowledge transfer required for ongoing operational self-sufficiency. Capabilities may be deployed in an iterative approach with multiple releases (where applicable) designed to help the Client achieve early value from the deployment.
These onboarding services may include these key activities based on the type of onboarding option of the three below:
Quick Start (up to 4 weeks): • Data ingestion • Reporting & Analytics • This offering is for Clients who are self-sufficient with Cloudabiity product configuration and do not require additional onboarding support
Foundation (up to 8 weeks): • Everything in Quick Start plus: • Multi-cloud Cost Visibility • Container Spend Managment + Optimization • Rightsizing Recommendations • Commitment Planning • Basic Cost Allocation • Anomaly Detection • Foundational Budgets & Forecasting • Benchmarking • Trend Based Cloud Forecasting • Budget Variance Tracking & Analysis
Pro (up to 16 weeks): • Everything in Foundation plus: • Advanced Cost Allocation • Unit Economics • Workload Planning • Collaborative Planning Workflows • Workflow & Pipeline Integration • Automated IaaS & PaaS Optimization • Automated k8 Optimization • Cloud Parking for Development/Testing • Sustainability
