- OwlDB for Tibero 7 an integrated DB Managment service provisioning Tibero 7 Single, TAC (High Availability) and a Disaster Reovery solution.
- The deployment architecture is optimized based on the selected DB configuration and infrastructure specifications.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Support : Real-time synchronization based on transaction logs ensures data consistency and supports complete standby environment setup for continuity.
- Leveraging Multi-AZ configurations, it secures geographical redundancy for stable DR environment deployment.
- OwlDB is provisioned in the new VPC's public subnet, and the Tibero DB is securely installed in a private subnet within the same VPC.

The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). How to access
When the OwlDB installation is complete, the access address and temporary password are sent to the email specified in the UserEmail parameter of the installation configuration
You can also access the application via a browser at https://[Unique Identifier (UUID)].owl-db.com/owldb/#/.
This UUID is automatically generated for each deployment and provides a unique, customer-specific access domain.
Connect to the OS
To connect to the operating system, use SSH and the username rocky. Port 22 is not open by default, so you must add an inbound rule for it in the OwlDB security groups before connecting.
Internet connection
This product requires an internet connection to deploy properly. The following packages are downloaded on deployment: unzip, awscli, docker, java.
Roles
The roles created in this product are as follows:

OwlDBIAMRole: This IAM Role is assigned to the Owl instance.
- Grants permissions to manage CloudFormation stack resources and handle the full lifecycle of database infrastructures from provisioning to deletion.
- Grants permissions to control compute resources for operations such as starting, stopping, and deleting database instances.
- Grants permissions to manage storage and snapshot resources (EBS, Snapshots, S3) to support backup and recovery processes.
- Grants permissions to manage network resources (VPC, Subnet, Security Group, VIP) to ensure communication and secure connectivity with database instances.
- Grants permissions to delegate IAM roles, allowing the assignment of the CoreplaneIAMRole to database instances.
- Grants permissions to access AWS Marketplace Metering APIs for usage-based billing and to retrieve AMI metadata required for image validation.
- Grants permissions to configure service hosting components including Route53 (DNS record management), ACM (TLS certificate issuance and management), and Elastic Load Balancing (listener creation and modification).
