    Overview

LAMP enables you to quickly start building your websites and applications by providing a coding framework. As a developer, it provides standalone project directories to store your applications.

This image is configured for production environments. It includes SSL auto-configuration with Let's Encrypt certificates, and the latest releases of PHP, Apache, and MySQL on Linux. This application also includes phpMyAdmin, PHP main modules and Composer.

This open source solution is packaged by Moat Systems. Learn how to install, configure, and manage it at https://github.com/cloudeyalimited/lamp-stack-by-cloudeya/blob/master/setup.md . For deployment issues, reach out our support team at support@cloudeya.org .

    Why use Cloudeya Certified Apps?

Cloudeya certified images are always up-to-date, secure, and built to work right out of the box.

Cloudeya packages applications following industry standards, and continuously monitors all components and libraries for vulnerabilities and application updates. When any security threat or update is identified, Cloudeya automatically repackages the applications and pushes the latest versions to the cloud marketplaces.

    Highlights

    • Let's Encrypt auto-configuration and HTTPS/HTTP2 support.
    • Apache is configured with the 'event' Multi-Processing Module and PHP-FPM that is designed to allow more requests to be served simultaneously.
    • Secure by default and configuration optimized for smaller instances.

    Dimensions summary

The software itself is free, so you pay only for the AWS EC2 instance you run it on. Pricing is billed hourly and scales with the instance type you choose. You select from a range of general-purpose families, including t2, t3, t3a, m3, m4, m5, m5a, m5ad, m5d, m5dn, and m5n. Within each family, sizes run from nano and micro up to 24xlarge and metal options. Hourly cost rises as you move to instances with more CPU, memory, or network capacity. Pick the size that matches your workload needs.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

The listing delivers a LAMP stack ready to run. This is a machine image with a web server, database, and PHP already configured. You launch it and start working without manual setup. The software carries no license fee, so only the hourly instance charge applies.
The software itself is free, so it adds no charge in any state. The hourly cost you see maps to the running EC2 instance. A stopped instance stops the hourly compute charge, though AWS storage fees for the disk may still apply while the instance exists.
Each type maps to a set amount of CPU, memory, and network capacity. Larger sizes like 24xlarge and metal give more resources per hour. Smaller sizes like nano and micro suit light workloads. Match the size to your traffic and database load, then adjust as needs change.
