Team Plan - 50 VMs per user, 100 GB pooled disk, 250 GB data transfer, admin/user management, and SSO. Team members can burst into teammates' unused capacity.
Reserved Cloud Pool - Up to 512 vCPU / 2048 GB RAM, thousands of VMs with pooled disks, SSO, admin management, and AWS VPC integration.
Each VM runs on 2 vCPU / 8 GB RAM (Personal/Team). Additional disk is available at $0.08/GB/month and additional data transfer at $0.05/GB/month.

Compatible Tools and Integrations
Exe.dev VMs are standard Linux machines. You do not have to use Shelley - other coding agents and developer tools work natively. The default image comes preinstalled with popular tools, and you can SSH directly into any VM for full terminal access. The platform supports AWS VPC integration on Reserved Cloud Pool plans for secure connectivity to your existing AWS infrastructure.
Shelley can be disabled at any time with sudo systemctl disable --now shelley.service.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

You buy team seats in four sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge. Each seat is measured hourly and billed monthly, so you pay for active use. Pick the seat size that matches the compute and resources your users need. VMs share the resources pooled across your users, so you pay for underlying resources, not per VM. Extra Disk is a usage add-on billed by filesystem usage when you exceed included storage. A required Annual Platform Fee covers marketplace access for your team through this listing. Combine seat sizes, disk, and the platform fee to build your total.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What happens to my bill when a VM sits idle or stops?
You pay for the underlying pooled resources, not per VM. Idle boxes stop to disk-only and resume in seconds. Seats meter active use hourly, so quiet periods lower usage. Disk still counts toward filesystem usage while stored, and that storage is billed under Extra Disk when you exceed included amounts.
How is Extra Disk measured and when does it apply?
Extra Disk is measured by ext4 filesystem usage, not allocated capacity. Each plan includes a pooled disk amount shared across your users. When your actual filesystem usage exceeds the included pool, the overflow bills as Extra Disk by the gigabyte per month.
How do the seat sizes, Extra Disk, and Annual Platform Fee combine on my invoice?
You commit to a required Annual Platform Fee once for marketplace access. Then you add seats in one or more sizes, metered hourly and billed monthly. Extra Disk bills separately when filesystem usage exceeds your pool. Seat count and size usually drive most of the cost; disk adds only on overflow.
