Each dimension maps to a specific AWS Arm-based (Graviton) EC2 instance type, billed hourly. Pricing scales with the instance you choose. Smaller sizes like t4g.nano or medium options cost less per hour, while larger sizes such as 48xlarge and bare metal (.metal) options cost more. Compute-optimized (c), general-purpose (m), memory-optimized (r, x), storage (i, is), and GPU (g5g) families are all represented. You select the instance that fits your workload.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the named Arm-based Graviton type, billed per hour. The instance's vCPU and memory match the AWS specification for that type. The software charge here is free, so the hourly listing covers the Ubuntu image itself at no license cost.
The Ubuntu image carries no license fee, so it never adds a software charge whether the instance runs, sits idle, or is stopped. You still pay AWS separately for underlying compute time and any attached storage. Those AWS infrastructure costs are not part of this free listing.
