Overview
This product provides Apache Kafka 4.1 integrated with Amazon Linux 2023 and delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) by ThinkCloud. The image includes the Kafka runtime and applies a verified operating-system hardening baseline. The final AMI was tested on a documented EC2 baseline for launch, service, and connectivity checks.
Marketplace software charges cover seller-performed Kafka and operating-system integration, preparation of the included runtime, application of the verified hardening baseline, repeatable image construction, and final AMI testing. Support and maintenance are supplementary services and are not the sole basis for the software charges.
