You pay by the hour for a preconfigured image running Apache Tomcat 9 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Pricing has one variable: the EC2 instance type you choose. The list covers many families, including burstable t2 and t3 types for lighter workloads and general-purpose m4, m5, m6, and m7 families for steady use. Within each family, hourly rates scale with instance size, from nano and micro up through metal options. Larger instances add more CPU and memory, so the rate rises with capacity. You run only the sizes you pick and pay for the hours used.

The software rate meters running hours only. When you stop the instance, the hourly software charge stops. You still may pay separate AWS fees for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Restarting the instance resumes the hourly software charge.
The instance type is the only pricing variable. Each type carries its own hourly rate. Within a family, the rate rises as size grows, because larger sizes add CPU and memory. Changing to a different family or size changes your rate for the hours you run it.

1.- Launch the product via 1-Click 2.- Use a web browser to access the Manager Application at: http://[ec2-ip]:8080/manager, or the Host Manager Application at: http://[ec2-ip]:8080/host-manager, where [ec2-ip] is the public ip provided by Amazon for your instance. 3.- Log in using the following credentials: - Username: 'admin' - Password: the 'instance_id' of the instance
You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'ubuntu' and your Amazon private key.
