It is a self-hosted software package that is deployed in minutes and offers maximum ROI with unlimited users and file transfers. Shared files can be uploaded, downloaded, or viewed from any device, including mobile phones/tablets. The system provides complete audit logs, allowing your company to comply with many regulations such as HIPAA, FINRA, and CJIS. It also offers FIPS-140-compliant SSL encryption giving an extra layer of security when dealing with government agencies. Optionally, you could also configure SynaMan to send/receive large attachments via email, which is powered by an embedded SMTP server. Security is assured using technologies like multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, IP restrictions, and automatic threat detection. The web interface of SynaMan can be tailored to merge with your corporate website, giving your clients the impression that they are still browsing your site.

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you launch. Each dimension is a different instance size, so the price scales with the compute, memory, and storage capacity you choose. Smaller shared-core types like t2 and t3 suit lighter workloads, while larger m4, m5, m5d, m5n, m5dn, m6i, m6id, and m6idn sizes offer more resources up to bare-metal options. The software runs on one machine, and you pick the instance that matches your expected file-sharing load. Billing runs hourly through AWS, so cost follows how long each instance stays running.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

You pay for one running EC2 instance that comes with the software pre-installed on a single machine. The hourly rate maps to the instance type you pick, covering its compute, memory, and storage. You add users and shared folders on that one instance without per-user software charges under this hourly model.
The software fee meters running time only, so a fully stopped instance stops the hourly software charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance sits stopped. To end all charges, terminate the instance rather than just stopping it.
No. Your cost is driven only by the instance type and hours running, not by user count or data volume. The software supports unlimited users and unlimited file transfers with no bandwidth throttling. To handle heavier load, choose a larger instance type, which raises the hourly rate.
