ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Enterprise Edition (10 Tech 500 Nodes)
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run this software on. All seven options bill on the same usage model, so you are charged only for the hours the instance stays active. The dimensions represent different compute sizes: t2.xlarge and t2.2xlarge are burstable general-purpose instances, while the m4 family (xlarge, 2xlarge, 4xlarge, 10xlarge, and 16xlarge) offers fixed general-purpose capacity that scales up with each size. Choose a size to match your workload; the hourly rate rises with more CPU and memory. The listing supports 10 technicians and 500 nodes.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged when the EC2 instance running this software is stopped?
You pay the hourly software rate only while the instance is running. Fully stopped instances stop accruing the hourly software charge. Note that stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for their attached volumes, but the software licence meters running time only.
What do I get for the hourly rate at each instance size?
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type. The t2 sizes are burstable general-purpose instances. The m4 sizes offer fixed general-purpose CPU and memory that scale up with each larger size. You pay for the compute resources of whichever size you launch, per hour.
How many technicians and nodes does this listing support?
This listing covers the Enterprise Edition licensed for 10 technicians and 500 nodes. Technicians are staff who work tickets in the service desk. Nodes are the IT assets you track and manage. These limits stay the same across all seven instance-size options.
