Overview
Cloudpiles offers a fully funded VMware Migration Preparation and Assessment Workshop to help drive plans to migrate VMware environments to cloud-native services on AWS.
Deliverables include an initial post-migration architecture design, mapping of VMware services to their AWS equivalent, a 3-year financial analysis with ROI, and a strategic plan with timeline to migrate your VMware workloads to AWS . Cloudpiles will determine whether you qualify for additional funding from the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) as part of the financial analysis.
Cloudpiles for VMware evaluation includes:
• Assessment of the customer's existing VMware environment, including licenses, infrastructure, virtual machines (VMs), networking, storage, and dependencies.
• Collect and analyze operational logs from the customer's existing VMware environment. This data can provide valuable insights into workload patterns, resource utilization, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.
• Analyze customer workloads, applications, and data to determine migration feasibility and identify potential challenges or compatibility issues.
• Analyze current customer licensing agreements and map them to AWS alternatives with projected high-level costs estimates on AWS.
• Gather requirements and understand customer business objectives, compliance needs, and performance expectations.
• Determine if your environment qualifies for AWS Migration Acceleration (MAP) funding.
