Blue Planet Assurance uses a single pricing dimension based on worker nodes. You pay by the number of worker nodes you deploy under a contract term. As you add worker nodes, your cost scales with that quantity. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions. This is a network assurance solution within Ciena's AI-driven operations portfolio, supporting network control and monitoring. Your total price depends directly on how many worker nodes your deployment requires.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A worker node is a compute unit that runs part of the assurance workload. Your billed quantity equals the number of worker nodes you deploy under the contract. Each node is counted separately, so adding processing capacity means adding nodes.
Cost scales directly with worker node count. When you add worker nodes to handle more capacity, your total price rises by that quantity. Removing nodes reduces the count. There are no tiers or included amounts, so each node adds cost the same way.
This is a contract-based product. You commit to a set number of worker nodes for the contract term rather than paying by variable hourly usage. Your bill reflects the node quantity you configure, not fluctuating consumption during the term.
