    Usage instructions

    • Please launch it with t3.large or higher instance type with default EBS of 200GB or larger SSD
    • Add your own ssh key during launch configuration
    • login as user ubuntu with the private key
    • Obtain Augur API token from https://dashboard.seclytics.com/integration_syslogng 
    • Run this environment validation script and answer all of the questions: cd /etc/syslog-ng/; sudo ./env_validation.sh
    • Please configure your SIEM or Firewall to forward syslog to this VM's ip.
    • Verify that events are forwarded to the VM with the following: tail -f /var/log/syslog-ng/logs.txt
