Trend Cloud One

We use Trend Vision One - Cloud Security to monitor our environment through its dashboard and take corrective action when issues are detected.

The primary challenge to our domain's security is the prevalence of spam and malicious emails. Users, often unaware of the sender's true identity, may inadvertently open these emails and expose the organization to harmful content, compromising its security. Trend Vision One - Cloud security aims to protect our assets, but the rapid spread of viruses and vulnerabilities through malicious emails remains a significant concern.

We are currently utilizing all three components of Trend Vision One across our entire infrastructure. Trend Vision One is deployed on our servers, provides anti-spam measures for our email through a cloud solution, and functions as an antivirus solution on end-user devices. All three products are sourced from Trend Micro.

Trend Vision One - Cloud Security offers centralized visibility across all protection layers, enabling 24/7 monitoring of our environment and immediate issue resolution. If needed, we can also submit a ticket to Trend Micro for assistance.

The executive dashboard helps identify abnormalities by highlighting them, allowing for immediate action.

The primary benefit of implementing Trend Vision One has been the noticeable increase in network security. Since its implementation, we have observed a significant reduction in attacks on our network.

Trend Vision One consolidates security across our network, enabling rapid response capabilities.

Trend Vision One helps decrease our threat detection and response time. The platform suggests system improvements as needed, which we then review and implement.

Trend Vision One helps decrease the time spent investigating false positives. 

Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's most valuable features include its comprehensive dashboard, which provides a clear overview of all services and systems, confirming their installation location and update status. This centralized dashboard offers a complete picture of the solution's health, enabling rapid issue identification and containment, effectively mitigating security risks, although it may not fully align with a zero-trust security model.

Currently, we must procure and configure the server hardware independently, as we obtain the software separately from Trend Micro. Should they offer an appliance-based solution in the future, it would be advantageous, eliminating the need to source and manage individual components like the server, RAM, storage, and CPU. An integrated appliance from Trend Micro would streamline the process, providing customers with a pre-configured solution and removing dependencies on external hardware.

I have been using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security for two years.

I would rate the stability of Trend Vision One an eight out of ten.

A local Trend Micro system integrator partner assisted with the implementation.

We have observed a positive return on investment with Trend Vision One. Despite the diversity of our systems, which include Dell and HP machines as well as various servers, we have not encountered any significant issues. The product has proven to be reliable and compatible with our network infrastructure.

The Trend Vision One pricing is reasonable.

Trend Vision One stands out for its stability and reliability compared to its competitors. It has an impressive track record of avoiding downtime and disruptions that could negatively impact businesses worldwide. Therefore, I recommend Trend Vision One.

The solution provides more information about threats, vulnerabilities, and the server host with the agent. If a user file is compromised while using an application, Trend Vision One  provides the baseline for the attack compared with MITRE. The system director or analyst can then make decisions.

I like the solution's baselines. It's important to compare an attack with the MITRE attack quadrant, which tells me when an attack will occur. The solution helps our organization meet PCI and GDPR compliance standards.

The solution should include more integrations and a universal connector with other firewalls for SNMP protocols.

I have been using the solution for four years.

I don't know the solution's current cost. Two years ago, it cost $200 for 20 credits, which was a high cost.

On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a seven out of ten.

Trend Vision One  uses machine learning. The solution's response times for the clients are perfect. I would recommend the solution to other users because it provides information about attacks and issues that help in making decisions.

Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

I use the tool for security solutions. It's a leader in Gartner and Forrester Wave reports. Customers rely on these reports.

I'd like to see mobile licenses included in the main license, similar to Kaspersky's model for future features.

Trend Vision One- Cloud Security is stable. 

We have deployed the tool for one of our customers. 

The support from the Trend Micro team in Pakistan is very good - we can reach them anytime by email or phone.

The complexity of the setup depends on the configuration level. Basic configurations are simple, but EDR and XDR require expertise and time.

We had a successful case in which we engaged Trend Vision One—Cloud Security after a client's attack, did a POC, showed a demo, and impressed the user. We also presented Forrester Wave reports showing Trend Micro is leading security solutions with EDR and XDR. I rate it a nine out of ten. 

In my experience, clients using Trend Vision One-Cloud Security haven't faced ransomware attacks, unlike those using Kaspersky. 

I advise new users to be technical, take training, and explore the tool's features.

Regarding AI capabilities, the solution leverages this technology like other endpoint security solutions. They're doing great; we haven't had any attacks or negative reports. It consistently appears in the leader list in Gartner and Forrester Wave reports, which speaks to its security and effectiveness.
